The Carletonian is owned by Carleton College. Physical copies of past issues are housed in the Carleton College Archives. Students, faculty, and other researchers are welcome to use all of these resources according to the General Information section of the Carleton College Archives.

Privacy & Ethics

Because we will be conducting a large-scale textual analysis of several past issues of the Carletonian newspaper, we will be looking at larger trends rather than specific details of one person that might be sensitive. Additionally, since the Carletonian is a publicly published student newspaper, we do not expect to come across any sensitive information.

While conducting our analyses, we will consider the historical context of the specific time period in order to prevent imposing past biases on our current work.
